Well......a three run first gives Klubes a good start.
Brantley singles home Ramirez (batting in the lead off slot with a .176 avg.) who walked, then Gomes hit a two run bomb.
Bourn just made a great catch to rob a homer.

Tribe wins it in extra innings 2-0 on an Urshela 2 run bomb in the 12th. Carrasco went 9 innings giving up 1 hit.

Incredibly, still just 6 games out of the wild card. Lots of teams to jump.
We have the type of team that is dangerous in the playoffs (minus the clutch hitting part). Great starting pitching and a good closer.

Another one wasted. My God...a slighty above average offense and we are probably on the Royals heels and running away with a wild card. Miserable.
Easy to blame Cody for this one but another game where adding on runs would have sealed it.

This is a helluva deal, getting rid of these albatrosses, IF the Dolans allow the front office to use the full (projected) $20 million next year to acquire some offense. If they use the typical "you have to subtract the $10 million we threw into the Swisher/Bourn deal so we're only allowing $10 million" excuse, it won't be all that effective, imo.Gardens35;1744974 wrote:Swisher and Bourn to Atlanta.
