Yesterday Pujols surpassed Mike Schmidt with is 549th career HR

Name the 2 pitchers that gave up homers to each of them.

Maddux was the easy one....but it took me 4 more guesses to get it. Johnson being one of those guesses. Johnson is incorrect.

Well, it's gotta be some other NL Central pitcher who was old during Pujols prime. I'll say Jose Rijo or Curt Schilling.

When did Schilling come up? Schmidt was done in 89 or 90. Was thinking Schilling had a cup of coffee with the Astros in that period.

Schmidt retired in '89. Shilling debuted in '88, but didn't play in the NL until '91. He started with the O's.

Talked myself into having Schilling's mug on the Astros on one of those 1989 Donruss cards

Yeah I don't think I would have ever gotten Franco without ever looking him up. Wasn't even in my mind to think of a closer haha. I would have also guessed Moyer, Glavine, and Schilling just because they are the only guys I know would have spanned the timeframe.

Also nice title Ironman just caught the 548.5 well done.
