Maddux was the easy one....but it took me 4 more guesses to get it. Johnson being one of those guesses. Johnson is incorrect.

Well, it's gotta be some other NL Central pitcher who was old during Pujols prime. I'll say Jose Rijo or Curt Schilling.

When did Schilling come up? Schmidt was done in 89 or 90. Was thinking Schilling had a cup of coffee with the Astros in that period.Azubuike24;1741814 wrote:Well, it's gotta be some other NL Central pitcher who was old during Pujols prime. I'll say Jose Rijo or Curt Schilling.

Schmidt retired in '89. Shilling debuted in '88, but didn't play in the NL until '91. He started with the O's.

Yeah I don't think I would have ever gotten Franco without ever looking him up. Wasn't even in my mind to think of a closer haha. I would have also guessed Moyer, Glavine, and Schilling just because they are the only guys I know would have spanned the timeframe.
Also nice title Ironman just caught the 548.5 well done.
