Do you believe George W.Bush and the Republicans cheated to win the 2000 election?

I say yes....for the following reasons

1.
Florida SOS Katherine Harris disqualified 20,000 voters because they had names "similar" to felons. Half of the 20,000 were African American

2.
Recount lawyers deliberatly delayed recounts by bringing up asanine challenges to ballots that they knew there was nothing wrong with.

3.
The US Supreme Court issued a ruling that contradicted every ruling they had ever issued in regards to elections. They also declared that the Gore v Bush counted once and never counted again.

It's pretty simple to see that Bush cheated to win....I would like to hear your thoughts though

I voted NO, but I'm with TK421 on this one. Thank God Al Gore didn't get in office. Who knows how much (MORE) money we would have blown on global warming.

Seriously who does care? Al Gore has proven himself to be one of the biggest morons in the country with his "Global Warming" BS. . Guess what? Your homeboy has been in office for a year, time for him to step up, be accountable, and fix his own problems. You're claims about how Bush "stole" the election are more ridiculous than Obama's ACORN scandal.

You're as radical liberal as Rush is conservative.

I voted, but this HAS to be the lamest thing you've posted yet, Mr. Stabler.

There were something like eight recounts done by media organizations of the Florida vote. ALL of them show Bush won fair and square.

What I can't figure out is why there are zero votes for yes when the thread starter says yes? Did you vote no, Elliot?

My vote was no, although I wouldn't put it past Republicans to the things listed in #1 or #2. However, it's been clear since 1960 that Democrats have blatantly cheated in big cities like Chicago. I think we are at the point now where we can expect Chicago-style thuggery from the Democrats in every national election and even some state elections. I believe Al Franken stole the Minnesota election and that the Democrats will do whatever it takes to steal votes in presidential elections. After all, the ends justify the means in their political philosophy, so they have no qualms about doing whatever it takes to gain power.

Prove number 1. And only one person who voted yes is another liberal hack. Good poll... How did this even get approved? There are no links to back up his outlandish claims. I believe #2, but #1 is ridiculous.

My guess is that it got approved because it is political in nature, and is not "name calling" or anything like that.

I thought you needed links to prove something? Especially as outlandish as saying a person disqualified 20,000 votes based on them sounding ghetto. This coming from a guy who LIKES the healthcare bill.
