Anyone upgrade their s5 to lollipop and have it turn into a giant piece of shit? I've been on the edge of getting a new phone for about a month because it was so ridiculously slow and all the new updates didn't help. There was a new update tonight and magically my phone is as fast as the day I got it. I forgot how much I like it when it works!

I got Lillipop on my LG G3 a few months ago and I hate it. Battery life got worse, it gets super hot, and the most annoying thing is that I get no notifications when I am on wifi. I have to go in and check for new emails, G chat messages, Twitter, IG and Snapchat notifications, and so on. I will leave my house and once wifi is disconnected, my phone goes crazy with everything I missed.

Factory reset it.

Did that. Battery life got a little better, but I still don't get notifications.

Did some research just now...seems like it's a common problem on that phone.

That's really unfortunate.

Check to see if there is a new update for your phone. Mine feels brand new today.

Yeah, I read the same thing. I am hoping a new update that will fix the problem is out soon.

I think this thread was a lucky charm. I had an update this morning, so we will see how it goes!
