Well well well.........we head in to the All-Star break on a little roll with BRF at the helm on thread posting.
(6 threads started, 4 wins and 2 losses, with an overall record of 14-7)
If we sweep this series against the A's, we will be at .500.
I think most of us would take that.
Friday start is 7:10
Saturday start is 6:35
Sunday start is 1:10

I think ALL of us would take that at this point.....Take all 3 from Oaktown, and it's " The Tribe is alive in 2-0-1-5!"If we sweep this series against the A's, we will be at .500.

I admire your optimism but this team is still below 500, with a bunch of Mendoza line hitters and double digits out of first place. Anything is possible, but it's hard to get excited about this team at this point. He was great the year we traded for him, but has been pretty bad since.

Michael Bourne rolls out to second leading off the ninth on a 3-1 pitch. Bourn goes 0-3 lowering his BA to a paltry 224. 13 million per year well spent. This team has too many high priced losers. They will enter the break sub 500 and for all intents and purposes, the season is over. SI jinx lives.
