I'm setting outside with my coffee this morning w/ the dogs on the patio..... What stories could this 80 plus year old patio tell me.
What I do know: i shoot chipmunk from it, wife puked on it one family gathering (swallow a bug), oldest daughter sent a baton throw the window from it, wind storm blow our glass top patio furniture off it ( don't buy glass top patio furniture), big bill fell off it (drunk), we've celebrated many events from this patio, kidscamped on it... So many fun thing to remember.

what would your deck or patio tell us?

Nothing. Patios & decks are inanimate objects that don't speak.

At your age, you may want to seek help if your patio is "talking" to you.

Man your patio would be the best guest at a party.

"You guys, one time there was a big ol storm and blew the umbrella off of me!!! ZOMG, can you believe that? 1 in a million".

My old deck would have said it needs a good scrub down to remove all of the bodily fluids.

Man, I was shroomin' hard last weekend and my friend's patio/deck/whatever wasn't talking to me, so I'm guessing I'm not going to get much communication from one of those things any time soon.

^^^ a 50-50 mix of chlorox and water oughtta do it...scrub vigorously with a brush or stiff broom, then hose it down.
