The opportunity that snuffed the comeback effort was in the 7th as Votto whiffed on two straight pitches to K once Billy stole 3rd with one out and one strike on Votto. Then the closer and set-up guy struck out all six Reds batters they faced in the last 2 innings!

Didn't get to see much but Votto is typically exceptional at scooping....though many other parts of his 1st base defense drive me crazy

Nice comeback after an ugly weekend. Did what they have to do against some shit starter I'd never heard of before who was allergic to the strike zone.
