I like the move. Varejao was worthless, and frye is a decent big man. Definite upgrade.

It's an upgrade but its not a game changer by any means. Does Frye in the rotation allow us to beat GS? No.

I do like the idea of a line up of kyrie, jr, lebron love and frye. Lots and lots of floor spacing. Will be interesting to see how it all plays out

Love and Frye together could be lethal. Gives you two guys who can knock down open 3s on kick outs and gives lbj and kyrie a ton on space to work in iso

Reading that the Cavs still have 2 roster spots open and a TPE. This likely isn't the only move.

@WindhorstESPN: 2018 1st round pick Cavs are trading to Portland is top 10 protected for 2 years. Cavs also created new trade exception of $9.6M

They have Miller and Harris. They have the 10.3 too if they didn't use it for Frye

Nice hottaek. I'd take Dwight on this team, but not giving up LBJ/Love/KI/JR Smith/Delly/Shump to get him.

Well, he wasn't healthy in LA, he was a beast in the playoffs, and is now the 4th/5th option on the rockets for some reason. The rockets fired their HC like 11 games into this season after going to the WCF (hardly a case study for a well run organization), so yeah I think Dwight is still a relevant player in the league. He's no longer at his MVP type level, but doesn't mean he's trash.

Andy was terrible this year. Barely even played. Saved the cavs 10 mill opened up a roster spot for possibly joe Johnson and created another TPE that doesn't expire till after next years trade deadline. Overall an excellent deal
