What websites or apps do you use for the most updated driving directions? I usually just use Yahoo or my cars GPS but I'm traveling to Dover, De next week and there's two different route choices that are only 15 minutes differences. One takes the PA Turnpike (Tollroad) and the other route goes more south. What way would you guys recommend?

I just use google maps.

As for your situation I'd just go whatever route is supposed to be the fastest.

I use google maps app for the phone as it updates traffic information and will find faster routes while driving if an accident/etc happens.

If I read it right, it uses the waze accident/traffic update app as its source of slow downs.

Google owns waze, plus studies have found that google maps uses less data and battery than waze.

If it's only a 15 minute difference, save yourself the money on the toll, and take the other way. I am starting to favor the less traveled road compared to the interstate anymore just for scenic reasons. I drove home from Cincinnati over the weekend (I live in Darke County), and I took 127 to SR 503 instead of taking 75. It didn't take anymore noticable time (different of 10-15mins maybe), and it was much more enjoyable from a relaxing standpoint IMO.

Have taken 127 from your area to Cincy before. Def a more interesting and relaxing that taking 75.
The toll roads really arent that expensive so that really isnt a deal breaker. I found I can always make much better time on the turnpike.

I'll be leaving from Columbus more specifically Blacklick, OH. I'll be pretty much going to Dover Raceway for a music festival.

Now that I think about it, you're right about the tolls. They always seem like they're going to be a lot but then never end up being as bad as I thought.

Take 70-40-68. I would not mess with 50 thru the mountains.
I pre-route with Google and use Garmin over the vehicle's GPS (Ford).

...the routing software we use at work shows I-70 to I-79S to Rt 68 East back onto I-70 in Maryland to I-95N to Rts 1 & 13 into Dover. The total travel miles show 516 miles
