Gonna do a pork tenderloin over inderect heat, then maybe sear it at the end. Bought some white corn on the cob at the grocery store, probably not as good as sweet corn in OH, but I'll give it a try on the grill as well.

Did some New York strips on Friday night that were just killer. Saturday did some brats from a local meat shop. They make them themselves, and do some interesting flavors. Tried the pizza and mexican ones. Not bad.

I'm alway interested in trying new and different items ... but some thing you just don't screw with and good old traditional brats are one of those... Traditional orginal brats, smothered in iron skillet cooked green peppers and onions w/ mustard ... so good..

Grilled last night - burgers, dogs, lamb, eggplant, peppers, onions, corn, and pineapple. Perfect day for it.

I agree mostly. I won't do these again. Though I do like some varieties. Bucyrus brats, cheddar brats, and beer brats are pretty good.

I hosted a surprise birthday BBQ for my sister on Saturday. We grilled burgers and hot dogs. We also had an insane amount of other food.

They ever do anything with the round house? When I first visited it years ago I thought what a great place, something should be done to save this wonderful history of American Rail

My Dad started making a jalepeno cheddar and bacon brat, uses real chunks of jalepeno in there too. First batch didn't taste much bacon in there, next batch was awesome, not overpowering or compromise the flavor of the brat. Kinda adds a smokey flavor to it.

I suppose so. Although, barbeque (or BBQ) can mean these two things as well:

2. a framework, as a grill or a spit, or a fireplace for cooking meat or vegetables over an open fire.

4. a meal, usually in the open air and often as a political or social gathering, at which meats are roasted over an open hearth or pit.
