Getting ready to start fishing here soon. Any opinions on Alum Creek Lake or Hoover Reservoir?
I have a boat trip lined up for Lake Erie later in the summer hoping to catch some large mouth bass.

I've lived on the both coasts for most of the past 15 years. The gulf coast of Florida is by far the best salt water fishing.

Hey Ygirl...try fishing both Alum & Hoover below the spillways this time of year. Use white or chartreuse twister tail jigs to catch both white bass and saugeye at both locations.
BTW...you catch smallmouth in Lake Erie not largemouth. But they can get up to 5lbs and fight like double that

I haven't been on a fishing charter since I was a kid. Looking for forward to it!
