Young guys making some plays today, which they have to with who's not playing. Powell intercepting Cardale then taking the fake selfie was outstanding.

Place was packed. Loved how people thought they would get there 15 minutes early and have a seat in A deck. They need to start doing assigned seats for the game IMO as it's pretty much a capacity crowd now

It was a competition to see how far they could throw.
Nick Conner the kid who was playing hs football this past fall, looked really good. A pick, forced fumble, pass deflections, and in a bunch of tackles.
thought Tracy sprinkle looked good too. QB play was meh, collier looked bad.

I was more impressed with Troy Smith. Dude can still launch it. The crowd gave a "woah!" sound....funny stuff.Terry_Tate;1722468 wrote:Cardale Jones just threw the ball 74 yards. Holy shit.

A lot of families load up the kids and go to the spring game because taking them all to a regular game would be crazy expensive and a big hassle for say a family of 4. Yesterday a family of 4 could go for $20 and it's not a regular game so you could take a little more space and not pay 100% attention since it's just a practice, so it's something fun to do with the kids and gets them the Ohio State football experience. I understand what your point was, but overall it's not accurate for the crowd that attends the spring game.Dr Winston O'Boogie;1722506 wrote:Hey, I love the Buckeyes. I loved during the lacrosse game how people literally have no idea how the sport is played. Guy behind me kept wondering why they just don't throw the ball into the netTerry_Tate;1722552 wrote:A lot of families load up the kids and go to the spring game because taking them all to a regular game would be crazy expensive and a big hassle for say a family of 4. Defending (and will be repeat) national champions, temps in the 70s. Why would there not be a good crowd?Dr Winston O'Boogie;1722506 wrote:Hey, I love the Buckeyes. I just don't get the interest in watching a practice.

I was into it as a student, because it gave us an excuse to party like it was a gameday in April, but I lost interest after that. I haven't been in years. It's a snoozer. I just read up on it after.Dr Winston O'Boogie;1722506 wrote:Hey, I love the Buckeyes. I just don't get the interest in watching a practice.
But as stated, it's good for families to get out and experience the Shoe.
