Couldn't find a thread dedicated specifically to biking/cycling, but it's something I've gotten pretty into over the past couple of years.
Anyone on the OC like to cycle? What do you all ride?
I've got a 2012 Fuji Sportif with gatorskin tires, and just installed my first clip-in pedals yesterday. I was hesitate to make the switch from cage because I couldn't ever find solid evidence that it was an upgrade worth the price of the pedals/shoes. Anyways bit the bullet and did ~15 miles yesterday afternoon. I can tell a difference, but it wasn't a quantum leap.
Post your bike/ride/pics from ride if you GAF.
Pic from a ride a month or so ago. If you zoom in far enough, you can see the skyscrapers peaking out of the clouds.

It's not been above 70 degrees where I live, so the 2005 Trek 1200 and 1994 Giant Acapulco remain in the basement.

I ride an old school Trek 850 mtn bike that began life as a 18 speed, now a 24 speed. Installed Rock Shox front suspension, changed the rear derailleur (Shimano Deore xt) different handlebar, added bar ends, different tires but mostly stock.
Rode it a lot when I lived in Phoenix. Tons of trails available.

Not an avid biker, but I am looking to go to Moab, Utah later this spring and at least spend a day renting a bike and going off road on some of the easier trails.

Francis stole my bike. I heard he hid it in the basement of the Alamo.
