Wish Jesus could have risen on a Friday or Monday. Three day weekend would be nice.

Serious question.

Why do you folks celebrate his "death" and "rising" on different days each year?

Yet you celebrate his "Birthday" on the same day?

If you're not a Christian or don't believe in God, why comment on this thread? Just to be a dick and further isolate members of this site based on their religious beliefs that you don't agree with?

This is a lot of what's wrong with the world. If you don't have anything nice to say, then just keep your fucking mouth shut.

Sorry for cussing on a "he has risen" thread.

The OC has not, and never will operate on that principle.

Yeah, that is part of what makes OC fun. Snot knows that, and is a huge hypocrite.

The date for the celebration of Easter as the first Sunday after the first full moon following the spring equinox. For this reason, the date will change each year and can fall anywhere from March 22 to April 25.
That is the most basic and easy answer.

As for Christmas.......Jesus wasnt believed to be actually born on that date. Some research believe it was more of a spring birth, but throughout time they settled on a singular date to celebrate his birth.
