Your power is out and for giggles lets say no service on your smart phone either.
Whats your entertainment?
Cork dart board in garage. Love the game of cricket. Risk and Apples to Apples board games get used some too. Laying in bed with a good book always is an option, power or not.

Is the power out due to a storm? If not, I'm going outside and getting exercise.
Or I drink beer before it spoils. Hard to be bored drunj

How are you going to read your book at night with no electricity?Con_Alma;1714296 wrote:Same thing I do most nights... go for a run come home, pour a glass of scotch and read my book.

Nowadays most peoples cellphones are charged when the power goes out. Internet access via the cell, games, music, videos, etc... plenty of entertainment night or day to keep one occupied until the power is back on.

I have one just because the kids stay home sometimes. But we are probably going to drop it and get a cell phone that just stays at the house.GOONx19;1714524 wrote:People still have home phones?

Same same here for years we have had a land line, still do.WebFire;1714527 wrote:I have one just because the kids stay home sometimes. But we are probably going to drop it and get a cell phone that just stays at the house.
Peoplel who know us call that number because we dont answer the cell phone at home. By calling the land line we know they are friends or family. We to will drop the land line, get the cell that just sit there (if we could get the old land line number that would be great... )
