Hey Cruiser, guess you forgot out those 4 central district teams that went out east to Sandy Valley for their sectional?
9 finalist 7 champs (the two guys who lost, lost to a central district guy in the finals). Central won 6 of the first 7 weights at 106, 113, 120, 126, 132, and 145, then the last champ from central was at 195. Fredericktown came away with 9 district qualifiers and two additional alternates and a runner-up team finish behind state dual qualifier Ridgewood. The Freddies had 2 champs, a runner-up, 3 thirds, and 3 fourths. Utica finished 4th as a team with 3 champs, a runner-up, and 2 thirds, and 1 alternate. Northridge had 2 champs, a third, and a fourth, and East Knox had 3 alternates with unfortunate pairings where a few of their guys got beat by another central guy in the go-to matches. 19 of the 48 qualifiers came from central Ohio.
Just thought I'd help ya out a little bit.

Wraith: Great call. I remember looking for results for Carson Mills, got distracted, and never returned to that thought. Thanks for the info. great stuff.

Millsgotskills pinned and teched his way through. Other wrestlers that looked impressive from the central (other than my own : thumbup: )is Jake Adkins beating state qualifier White (Harrison Central) in the 113 final, Utica's 3 champs 106 Siefert beating state qualifier Bethal from Ridgewood in the finals, 132 Pelletier also beating a Bethal from Ridgewood avenging an earlier loss, and 145 Parmer earning 3 first period pins to his championship (also over a Bethal from Ridgewood).cruiser_96;1709304 wrote:Wraith: Great call. Once again, the shear size of scope that emcompasses D-III and D-II is SO far reaching we miss it. I appreciate the info. This really is great to read.
