Today I'm preparing my mom's .... Beef Dumpling Soup.
It takes about 3 hours to make ...
Served up with hot fresh baked bread w/ sour cream, glass of warm Christkindl Gluhwein wine
Great fire burning in the fireplace, big cup of hot Beef Dumpling Soup, bread and wine

What is your cold weather menu for this weekend freezing temps?

I'm making homemade beef stir fry tonight. We'll have chili tomorrow night and pork chops on Saturday.

Mmmm, soap.

I am meeting Mantooth at Piada for dinner tonight. I am staying in and crafting tomorrow. I will probably have something lame like baked chicken or turkey burgers. Womp, womp.

I knew what he meant but yeah-Beef Dumping Soap sounded funny!! (and I don't usually get on Belly for his spelling)

2 things my wife is very good at and we had them this week-chili and chicken noodle soup.

If you eat enough soap with your beef, I'd imagine you might be doing quite a bit of dumping.

Will make a batch of Bison chili Saturday morning, and maybe pick up some fresh bread from the bakery to go with it.

Tonight and tomorrow will be left over turkey meatballs, quinoa and veggies.

It snowed in AZ the first time I was ever there.

Can't go wrong with bison. That, along with elk, are two of my favorites. Wish I had some venison.

That sounds incredibly unlucky lol. When I was down in Tucson last year we had an actual 1/4 or 1/2 inch stick on the ground and people were FREAKING out. Glad I got out when I did because Ohio has had some putrid weather the past couple years.

Hope you guys stay safe

Yeah we were there for 10 days, and it went from like 75 to snowing in that span. To be fair, we were like halfway up a mountain somewhere I think. But it was still chilly in PHX where we were staying.

My brother lived there for about 4 years (Tucson and PHX) and they only saw snow once, I believe.

Took chili out of the freezer for tomorrow. Making chicken soup today. Chicken and veggies in the stock pot now. So should be good to go in a few hours.

I was super-happy last year when my SUPER-HUNTER friend bagged a moose in Canada. Two pounds of moose-burger = great dinners for a week! I mean, I got three pounds of deer burger this year, but while great, it just isn't quite the same.

Moose is also the chit. My father shot one up in the Yukon and we had them cooked on the grill one summer. SO good.....
