I like Ginn as a kick returner...not a receiver, and kick returner is the only position the Browns are very good at.

I am not going through the last few pages to see if this has been brought or not.

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Sam Bradford will command in the range of $50 million guaranteed when he signs his contract as the No. 1 overall pick, most likely with the Rams.

The maximum value is expected to average $13 million annually. Matthew Stafford, as the No. 1 pick in 2009, received $42 million guaranteed and $12 million per season. Bradford is reportedly not willing to sign a pre-draft contract because he wants to see if the Browns make a move up the board to get him. Doing so would essentially cost Cleveland its entire draft.

that asking price is way too high. How much did the #7 pick get paid last year?

Agree, why trade a 5th round pick for a backup to Cribbs.

This is why I backtracked on an initial comment about thinking the Browns WOULD trade up for Bradford. With the new CBA having to be worked out, I'm expecting a new rookie wage scale. Why shell out $50 million THIS year when, if they don't go QB, they could possibly get their franchise QB for $30 million next?

The "give up their entire draft" comment is hogwash. The Browns are reportedly the ONLY team who has expressed the interest in moving up. If the Rams REALLY want out of the #1 spot, they have no leverage. If the price wasn't right, for the Browns, they wouldn't make the move and the Rams are STUCK with a QB that they aren't really sold on.

I could see Heckert dealing with the Eagles on draft day. They have the picks in the early rounds. I just hope he doesn't trade away the possibility of getting Berry or Thomas.

With the Eagles supposedly wanting a safety, if Berry does fall to us, would we consider trading out if Philly wants him THAT bad? We could land a lot of picks if they really want him. They have an extra 2nd and 3rd I believe. I'm not saying we should but it would be a tough decision IMO.

If Berry is there, IMO we have to take him.

I tend to agree. Although in theory they could use some of the picks they get from Philly to trade back up and get Thomas. I'm just excited to see what happens. I keep coming up with all these crazy ideas in my head. haha

If we can have 7-8 picks in the top 95, like I mentioned on the previous page, you DO that deal and pass on Berry.

If Berry is there at 7 and the Eagles are willing to swap first rounders and give us a 2nd and a 3rd, you take it. Hopefully Colt McCoy is still on the board at 24, and the Browns should pull the trigger.

if he stayed at usc with out incident he would have been a top 10 player in the draft that year.
That's why I'm thinking with Sheldon Brown in there and Sabrina Parr's boyfriend on the bench, E-Wright should flourish.

See, I can't decide. Having that many picks early would REALLY help get solid young players, but at the same time should you pass on a Polamalu type player? I suppose it's a win win situation.

As sure a thing as Berry SEEMS to be, you make the deal if you can get an extra two picks in the top 100. That is very likely two more players who will be contributing to your team almost immediately.

My perfect draft would have us getting Berry and McCoy (somehow, some way) or McCoy and Thomas at safety -- and then find other players that are needed.

But I really, really, really want McCoy as the QB of the future. I think he's going to be that good.

Looking back at past threads, doesn't it seem like you've done your best to embarrASS the Steeler fan base?

Dude you're such a dickwad that it isn't even funny. At some point you've got to realize that no one really gives a flyin' fuck what your dumb ass has to say. The Browns having picks in the top 10, is about as funny as a homo such as yourself, trolling on a thread when no one really gives two shits if you're here or not. What's sad is that you hide behind a computer screen, spending all your hours coming up with ways to troll the threads, and would probably be the biggest Browns fan alive if you were face to face with any of the people who have responded to your post. Face it, Big Gay Al, is also a Big Bitch - just like that whore seekin' excuse for a QB you call Big Ben in Shitsburgh. I'd say I hope you're ready for the ass pounding that the Squeelers are going to take this year with Dennis Dixon as your QB, but I'm sure you're accustomed to the ass poundings as I'm sure you receive them daily.
