BYU beats Nebraska on a Hail Mary. Surprising result.
Hardly. Nebraska is another paper tiger that hasn't been relevant in decades. They have no business being in the Big 10 as they also contribute to bringing down the overall level of play.

If this were 1995 it'd be the most loaded conference out there. Sadly in 2015 too many are living off of past glories as the yearly beatings keep accruing.

Notre Dame gets the benefit of home cooking. Pretty obvious delay of game that wasn't called leads directly to a TD.

You're right. Hail Mary's are common ways for a football game to be won as time expires.

At the same time, BYU is maybe an 8-win team. Losing to them at home doesn't bode well for Nebraska to be anything more than maybe a 7-5, 8-4 team. Not exactly adding a gem to the conference.

Unfortunately BAMA looked really good...like mid season form good. If Buckeyes don't entirely dominate VT bet on some #1 votes sliding towards the Tide. TCU is gonna drop anyway. Fkg Irish will climb a couple rungs after manhandling TX even tho they really shouldn't becuz TX is as horrible as I've ever seen them.

Bama's D looks good, but they are always going to look good when it's a one-dimensional attack. Wisconsin, yet again, no weapons on the outside and a young offensive line struggled all night. Good thing for Bama though, their own run blocking is great. Derrick Henry is a beast. Jake Coker looked very good.

Lets hold back before they get talked up. Ohio State has to do a lot to lose the #1 ranking.

Texas A&M was the best team I saw today. I'm not saying they are elite, but anyone who has watched them the last few years saw a team that was defensively not ready to play with the big boys. Tonight, they stuffed an offense that many felt was one of the better ones in the country. As I mentioned earlier too, Christian Kirk was insane. Looked like Ted Ginn.

There is rarely home cooking for ND. They bring in refs from the conference of the team they are playing during home games.

But, I don't think that one would have made much of a difference anyways.

My post was more tongue in cheek. That is always the reason given when ND fans are upset by calls in games.

It was definitely a delay of game, but the refs missed it. Just like they missed the facemask that should have been called on the one play when Zaire got brought down on a run. It was week 1 for everyone.

I'm not going to be upset about that missed delay of game call when everyone said that MSU's non-delay of game call on the Little Giants play from 2010 was because the ref needs to look at the clock and then look back at the play. We can just chalk this one up to the same thing.

i don't think refs determine the outcome when the final score is 38-3. Please show a stat that they get the most homer calls if you want to run your mouth about it.

10 SEC teams in the top 25... I thought this crap would have toned down a little after the beat down that legendary SEC West took last bowl season.
