I watched and loved it. You guys do know it's a three part mini series airing Sunday Monday Tuesday. I will for sure be tuning in again tonight. I enjoyed it more then most of the History channels specials latly.

My wife and I have enjoyed watching so far. My only complaint is that the actor playing Sam Adams looks awful young to be portraying a guy was 50 at the time it was happening, and who probably looked older than that.

I'm sure they drank beer, but when Jim Koch pays for a lot of the programming, it appeared a bit overboard. Overwise, I enjoyed learning about the lesser known persons.

It actually is said by historians that the founding fathers were HUGE alcoholics. Getting drunk multiple times a week and almost always having a few at night.

It was pretty good, but I thought the mini series John Adams covered the time period better

Anyone know when they will be replayed? I looked online briefly but didn't see anything. I have 2 and 3 recorded, but need the 1st still.

This is how I felt. The good part was that John Adams barely touched on Sam Adams and completely ignored Paul Revere. So they covered some different things, but overall John Adams blew this show out of the water.

Also, someone in the show said "a bridge too far" which was of course a phrase coined after Operation Market Garden during WWII. Sometimes it sucks being a smart person that knows things.
