But against Illinois he threw for 167 yards and 2 tds. They won 55-14. That isn't amazing, but it can hardly be called struggling.

Against Indiana he threw for 302 yards and 4 tds. Again, I hardly call that struggling.

To argue the opposite side. The line definitely improved but I wonder if they would have looked as good with jt playing qb. I think Cardale's deep ball opened some things up nicely for Zeke. I also wonder how much Cardale will miss Devin Smith. He was a great deep threat.
