Since some gutless swine mod has banned me for absolutely no reason on the 6 month long Browns off season thread, I will post my words of wisdom here from now on.

Reports have it that Farmer is reaching out to Brian Horror's agent to discuss a new contract. LMAO. Listening to Dustin Fox yesterday was hilarious. "But Bull, he's not that bad." And Bull responded "yes Dustin, he is that bad."

Manziel should have taken over after the Atlanta game where, in spite of a horrific performance by the quarterback, the idiot Atlanta coach handed the game to Cleveland.

It will probably take Johnny 8 games next year to get his shit straight. This growing pain period could have been taken care of this past season, and the Browns would be in good shape entering next year.

Very good shape next year. With Manzel making good on his word to take his job more seriously the offense will flourish.

Lol. This year, Browns would be 9-1 with the stallion in the garage not playing. But next year...8 games to get it right??? What the fuck is with that logic?

So last year you said he would be amazing game 1...now it will take 8 games into season 2 for Johnny before he doesn't suck donkey balls?

I hope he is good, as a Browns fan I hope he is amazing. However, you keep moving the goal posts and you will sound just like the Hoyer apologists and say about Manziel "but he doesn't suck THAT bad".

I think if they re-ssign Hoyer, they will trade JFF....can't imagine they would want to go thru another year of that QB scenario. I can't believe either Hoyer OR Manziel would want that. I don't think Hoyer signs unless Manziel is jettisoned.

Sounds like Manziel was a joke all year and didn't take anything seriously, surprising.

Ah yes...the "unnamed sources" throwing Johnny under the bus. Maybe these unnamed sources forgot how to catch the ball when Manziel hit them in the hands. No? It's truly amazing that the " quarter clubbers" have Johnny as a guaranteed bust. 7 fuggin quarters. Do I need to remind you people of the 7 first year quarterback busts that are now in the HOF?

I am so looking forward to seeing Manziel run with the ones starting in training camp. His competitive nature will take over and he will get the last laugh.

Huge increase in ticket prices announced today. I look for attendance next year to average around 55,000 or even less. Was at the Colts game this year and was amazed at all the empty seats in the upper deck...and that was back when the Browns were still in the playoff hunt.

The business decision may not cost Haslam money in the general revenue coffer, but the publicity in having a 3/4 full stadium will be noted by the local and national media.

Between $6-$25 increase (to 25 and $110) for non club level seats. Havent raised them in 7 years.
Complain when your 3rd row from the top has a face value of $75,

I don't know the cost of other teams tickets but of the four AFC Noth teams, Cuyahoga County has the lowest per capita income. Cincy's county averaged $72k (something like that), while Baltimore's was about $70k, Allegheny County (Pittsburgh?) averaged $51k while Cuyahoga County has a per capita income of $43k. Unless there's a huge difference in ticket prices, those that do pay for Browns tickets are probably getting hit the hardest. (figures are per the radio, didn't look them up)

I think a lot of the beef with this increase, even though it was the first time in 7 years, is that they did it in one shot and it looked like they were trying to make up for it all at once. Had they gradually increased them, along with finishing out the season on a more positive note, you probably wouldn't hear as much bitching. If the Browns were winning, it probably wouldn't matter what the cost was, for many.

Eh, our steeler tix usually go up $5 a shot. I want to say they have gone up from $50-$75 a piece in the last 7-10 years. Want to say they jumped like 10 bucks in the offseason they signed ben to the huge deal. I get what you are saying though. I have friend who have bengal season tickets and we both joke to browns fans when they complain about ticket prices. I will have to ask my buddies if they are raising them again for next year. I got out of getting tix with them last year when my brother started to score free club/lower bowl tix from his company a few times a year. Those FREE tickets, and great seats......just makes it tough to want to pay for the 3rd row fromthe top!

I never complained. Just stating my observation on Haslam's business decision. I don't really give a shit either way. Just saying that the end result will be a boatload of empty seats...which is unprecedented in Browns history...a legacy that will be forever be tied to Haslam's decision to raise prices significantly with a perennial loser on the field.

I agree voice...all the Cleveburgh third shift drill press operators and their fat wives from Akron would sooner cut back on feeding their kids than not pay premium price for watching a dismal on- field product. $10 increase per seat is only a couple less packs of Camels or meatless perogis for the week.

Oh yes it will. My guess is that average attendance will be less than 60000. Ticket price is the main reason but not the only reason. The schedule has 3-13 written all over it...unless Manziel gets his shit straight quickly. People will not put with Brian Hoyer this season.

All the Johnny haters calling in and saying his rehab is a publicity stunt. LMAO. Manziel will have the last laugh. If he kicks the coke habit that is. Can't wait to see Johnny with the ones next preseason.

Nice to see Shanahan talk about Manziel having a strong work ethic. He could have easily have piled on...but he didn't. Then today Haslam said it was way to early to give up on Manziel, much to the chagrin of the know it all Cleveland media. The guy had one great quarter and 6 bad ones and now he media wants him shit canned. OIF'nC.
