I will be holding to my self-imposed exile from the OC except on threads relating to the Clowns and Manzier's follies. Season couldn't have gone any worse.

We will finish below .500 and yet still have no clue what is going on at the QB position. Hoyer will leave, and Johnny gets all of 6 quarters worth of action for the entire season.

Now we get to do the cycle all over again in year 2 with another likely QB competition and Johnny still having almost no game experience.

This is why teams that draft QB's in the first round play their QB's right away. That way they aren't wasting multiple years like we are about to do with inexperienced QB's and not even knowing what you have on the roster.

I said if they accomplished nothing else this season it was imperative to figure out what you had in Johnny, and that was not accomplished as no team in NFL history has shitcanned a 22 year old 1st round QB pick after 6 quarters of play.

Farmer/Pettine screwed the pooch big time with this one and now are going to start year 2 on the clock with a much tougher schedule needing to show massive improvement with more inexperienced QB's.

For the love of all that is good and holy, what does it take to get an administration in here that understands you don't get a 2nd first year because you bungled the first one? Every regime does this and it is maddening.

There may be a QB controversy but it wont include Shaw.

I dont see what else Pettine could have done. JM obviously didnt apply himself to get ready for the season. Pretty obvious he didnt take the job seriously and they had to go with the QB that was winning.
