Although, I voted to show the movie anyway. I don't think this is a hit on First Amendment rights. This is about losing money. It's always about the bottom line.

The movie would make money, but what happened if there was an attack? Would the ambulance chasing lawyers sue the theatre and sony? salmon rushdie was threatened by iran for writing the book ...... satanic versus....... all the publishing houses stuck together and did not budge... they told iran you will not tell us what we can or cannot sell in our bookstores .. iran lost that battle because the right of the people stood up together and yelled back at those tyrants....

The theaters would be fine, I was mainly talking about Sony losing money. Again, we need tort reform in this country badly. I don't disagree with tort reform and I get they want to avoid potential chance of terrorism. Still a cowards move though.
