Tomorrow is our departments potluck (or carry-in-whatever you call it)

Do you have a go-to dish for these occasion? I never really know what to do and end up buying chips or something.

My very first work carry-in, they passed a list around to write down what you were bringing. I wrote down "Johnny Marzeti" and nobody knew what I meant. (I know-cool story bro)

That's because it's Johnny Marzetti.
You confused them.

Taco bites

I take hamburger, mix it in a bowl with taco seasoning, put the meat in a mini cupcake tin, making meat "cups", so to speak, put some sour cream, crumbled corn chips, a splash of Frank's Red Hot, in the "bowl" of the meat cup, cover with taco cheese and bake. Those little bastards are tasty.

I brought a fruit tray to mine today. It was nice knowing there'd be something nutritional I could enjoy. It was a combination of cantaloupe, honeydew, pineapple, strawberries and blueberries

8-10 medium sized red potatoes skin on, 1 can Campbells cheddar cheese soup, enough milk to fill empty can, shredded cheddar cheese, 1 cup sour cream, salt and pepper. Slice potatoes thin, mix all other ingredients in a bowl, season to taste. Pour mix with potatoes and bake covered at 350 for 30 minutes. The last 5 minutes uncover and put shredded cheese on top and let melt.

I usually take cheesy potatoes or mac and cheese in the crock pot to gatherings. We don't have work potlucks, though. There are only three of us here in the office.

We did get invited to a Christmas party for another company in our old office building, and I took deviled eggs. Everyone said they were bomb dot com, and all 24 of them were gone in like 30 minutes. Beats me...I hate deviled eggs, so I didn't try them.

I usually bring my appetite.

I have zero creativity at things, so I'm the guy who goes out and picks up the soft drinks and cups.

I've that guy many times. Other people like to cook for co-workers. I consider that a waste of valuable personal resources.
