Actually, what I said was correct...I just used the wrong ( little) adjective. Criticize my English skills...not my math skills. I'll puy my 800 SAT score up against yours...anytime. Did I not say 16 t 46 increase was less than 300%? Well....yes I did. And that is a correct statement. But it's AMAZING how the entire Saturday was wasted by worms like you. Laley. ***** City and the like. What I did was with purpose ..and the reaction was just as I thought. But here ya Go Turdy. This one is for you, Laley and Lhshemp. Hypothetical that will keep you busy for a week. Next year...the Browns split with the Steelers, end up a game ahead of them in the standings and the Steelers are still crowned as division champions. Could that happen? I'm looking for a yes or no answer. Go. Tick tock tick tock.

Can we change the thread title to 2015 Browns Offseason (IQQY Free)? Might as well keep this thread going without IQQY getting involved.

I really don't think the Browns can get enough out of Gordon to trade him, but wouldn't mind the trade if they got a good deal for him.

I understand your feelings from a talent standpoint. However, the difference between Moss and Gordon is that Randy was a self-centered moron that had legal issues, but they really never forced him to miss time. Gordon has had a ton of legal issues during his brief time in the league, resulting in missing almost a full season in just three years. He is "secondhand smoke" away from being kicked out of the league. He's had DUI's, two marijuana issues not counting college, missed meetings, questionable work ethic, etc...

If these guys would "get it," I'm all for keeping them, but Gordon has shown that he hasn't learned a darn thing during his three years, and Manziel is nothing more than a distraction to the team.

I agree, I have a hard time thinking we could even GET a 3rd rounder for him. Obviously, if we could get more I would be all for it, but I just don't see it happening. NFL teams have too many other things to do instead of babysitting grown men who don't know how to conduct themselves off the field.

Haslem said Pettine and Farmer will "absolutely" return next year, so we can get that out of the way.

Looking back at the 2014 draft, wouldn't it be nice to have Kelvin Benjamin instead of Johnny at that #22 pick.

I mean, it could've been a lot worse. We could've had the #1 overall pick and selected Clowney...

Would've been better to have OBJ at 9, and Derek Carr at 22.

You can look back during the draft period. Carr was the QB from this class I wanted.

I am pretty sure the new drug policy caps off the players at 10 games. There is no longer a year long or life long ban. Also, there is easily a comparison between moss and gordon. Both players mailed it in for their shitty team. When Moss was traded to a better team, he all of a sudden was leading the league in major categories again. Gordon is doing the same shit, not putting in his best effort.

They need players who are leaders. All of the good teams have players who would deal with many of the issues locker room style. Both of our first round draft picks have zero work ethic, but none of the players step up and give them some tough love. It hurts to say this, but the Ravens and Steelers both have players that would kick the ass of rookies who act like ours do. We have no leadership from veterans.

Based on some Twitter stuff, it sounds like he hinted that the 3 won't be released. I think the shit will hit the fan tomorrow though, that's when Pettine said he would address the Manziel, Gordon, and Gilbert situations. I honestly can't see what value JFF has to the Browns at this point. A guy that played WR and Safety on the practice squad, just came out and performed better than Manziel did in his game and a half.

It appears that Dansby and Whitner have tried, but they do it through the media which I don't necessarily agree with. Dansby has also mentioned that he's willing to talk to the young guys, but they have to approach him, not the other way around (however, it's pretty well known that Dansby isn't a real verbal guy, more of a "lead-by-example" guy). I understand that mindset though, because if a veteran approaches a rookie who doesn't find any issues with what he is doing, it's going to have very little impact. By the rookie approaching the veteran, it shows that they understand they need to improve or change.

I'll pass on Carr and his 5.53 yards/attempt. The league's new checkdown king.

I am not really impressed with the QBs coming out of this draft either. Winston I think will be the best, but he will go in the top 5. I think if Hundley falls to the Browns in the 2nd round, they gotta make that pick.

Exactly how do you know that Whitner did not attempt to deal with it in the locker room?

He didn't say that they didn't try to in the locker room...they still are doing it through the media, however. ...maybe in addition to an effort in the locker room or maybe only in the media.

So you'd rather have Hoyer, and Manziel, instead of Carr?

Hoyer: 55.3 % 3326 yards 12 TDs, 13 INT 43 QBR
Carr: 58.6 % 3112 yards, 20 TDs, 11 INT 40 QBR

I'm not saying he's the best QB of all time (I'm not FW or IQQY), but you've gotta give credit where its due Carr has been the best Rookie QB this season, and it's not really close.

Regardless if he checks down, he's moving the sticks, something we didn't do this year, at all. Our WR's are comparable, but the Browns have the edge on TE, RB, and its not even close on the OL.
