As much as I think it is a douche move on whoever turned him in, there is one thing to keep in mind. However, the 1st Amendment does NOT give you freedom from consequences of saying stupid crap.
I can't walk into my boss's office and cuss him out and then say "freedom of speech b!tches, you can't fire me!".
Same thing online, if you do stupid stuff on FB or where ever there is chance it could have some real life consequences.
