Installed this today and no ads! It's similar to the adblock plus for Firefox, which I use on my other pc.

Hmmm......I was just glad to know that you could get rid of some ads with IE8. I had no idea it would bring out so much emotion by some. Based on these responses, you'd have thought I was bragging about having an I-Mac, I-Pod or an I-Phone.

I downloaded it and it works, although, it seems like my pages are loading a good bit slower.
