Must-win game for Cincinnati considering their last 4 games will all be against other playoff contenders.

Burfict and Hunt the only significant players out for the Bengals.

Yeah, like I just posted on my thread....must win unless they plan on sweeping the Steelers and beating the Browns.

And gotta hold suit with Denver to make that head to head for the 1st round bye.

A long way to go for sure.

The annual "alright, the bengals are in contention for the last third of the season, time to start making threads and acting like fans!" thread.

C'mon. A few of us real Bengal fans have been on here forever. Even back to the JJ days. There just aren't many others around here.

I spend Sunday hanging out with a bunch of people at my house watching the Bengals/NFL. They get to hear all of my bitching about Andy Dalton so I have none left for here, haha.

Tampa had 12 men on the field. Marvin threw the challenge flag, cost them a timeout but it gave the refs a chance to look at the play.

Tampa completed a long pass, but Marvin Lewis illegally threw the challenge flag (under 2 minutes, remember, no challenges allowed). He went crazy, the refs huddled and they actually reviewed the play. Bucs had 6 lineman, 5 WR's and a QB. 12 men on the field. Reversed the play, backed them up 10 and loss of down. Cincy D held after that.

So basically an illegal challenge saved them the game.

The refs missed the call (12 men clearly in the huddle and lined up on the line of scrimmage) and the resulting play got the Bucs into FG range. Lewis did all he could to delay the game and although he couldn't officially challenge, all plays under 2 minutes can be reviewed at ref discretion.

One of the biggest breaks in franchise history.

Should have been a penalty on Lewis as well. Pretty sure Schwartz was penalized for doing the same shit a few years ago.

It's not anymore. It's just costs them a timeout.

It's a penalty but it's only a loss of timeout Schwartz did it with no timeouts left so it cost them 15
