Doubt it. I'll bet they keep TT in the starting lineup to matchup with the Bulls bigs. That frees up LeBron to defend either Butler or Dunleavy. My big question is if Shump will stick with JR coming off the bench, or if they shift Shump back to a reserve role. I'm leaning toward the latter, more so because of the groin tweak and because that was what their roles were all season. We shall see, though! Nice to have JR back!

I think you gotta keep the same lineup and go with the hot hand. Hoeofully JR can ignite the bench.

This. TT exposed Gasol for the soft ass/finesse bitch that he is. Keep TT in that starting lineup until it proves to not be effective.

Speaking of gasol, what was that tech call on perk all about? That was some petty shit. It's the fucking playoffs and perk gets a tech for staring at a guy? GTFO.

TT should start. I like JR in the game instead of Shump at the 2 position.

TT reminds me of a much more athletic Andy V.

Perkins has a track record so the refs probably errored on the side of caution not wanting it to turn into a Cleveland/Boston series. Was still a shitty call.

It's pretty obvious the refs know Perkins reputation and don't let him get away with anything. It was weak for sure though.

I saw a little more than a stare down on the replay. Not saying that it should've been a tech, but not surprised they called one after what happened last series.

Haven't heard otherwise, but I know Blatt has been trying his best to keep everything he can quiet.

I was cracking up with about 2 minutes left in the game Hinrich got tangled up with Delly and kind of rode him for a little bit...right until Perkins started coming over.

Kelly Olynyk has reportedly been rebuffed by Kevin Love in his attempts to apologize to the Cavaliers forward.

Olynyk and his representatives have reached out to Love's camp numerous times so that Olynyk can personally apologize to Love and tell him that he never intended to injure Love, but Love has declined to take his call.

On another note, anyone hearing any outrage over the video clip that featured "domestic violence" at the game last night? People need to lighten up and learn to discern what is and isn't malicious. Starting to really piss me off how many crybabies are out there...

Good. Love shouldn't return his calls. Fuck Olynyk. Can't just ruin someone's postseason and expect that person to just be like oh it's cool man no worries.

Also hearing the Cavs are reportedly pretty concerned that Kevin Love is planning to leave this off season. And this report is coming Woj...

"He’s going to look at free agency, I think he’s going to look at other teams," Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports said. "He can always opt in and go into free agency next summer where there’s even a bigger pool of money. But there’s a legitimate fear within the Cavs that he will just walk."

I highly doubt he leaves.

My thought is if he leaves, he leaves. If he'd take less money to play for a worse team...then he's a lost cause. I get that they gave up 2 #1's for him...(which is really only 1 because Bennett will be out of the league soon), but it's not like we won't get someone to replace him. The Cavs are a team that players want to come play on. We won't struggle finding a replacement. Like that article linked from few days ago, saying Aldridge would be interested in coming in a sign-and-trade if Love left.
Long story short...not the end of the world if he were to leave.

I couldn't agree more with this. I think Love will get paid a boatload here...and...he will cha-ching the cash register by playing here as a champion with endorsement deals. The guy doesn't have a dynamic personality, but he keeps his nose clean and is good looking. Sponsors eat that shit up.

If Shump can't go, it would be a huge blow. Can't count on Delly playing lights out like that. People are debating whether or nor Shump should start over JR if healthy. Don't think it matters much either way, but I would go back to JR as the starter.

Anybody notice the elevation Shump gets on his jump shot? The dude has some serious hops. Reminds me of David Thompson the way he elevates.

It's been said all along that Love would be incredibly foolish to leave. Is it possible he's simply leveraging the situation to earn as big of a payday as possible (for the maximum length) from the Cavs to stay? I mean, only a fool would leave money and rings on the table to go somewhere to be " the man," right? It will be interesting for sure. Regardless, we've got the best player on the planet and one of the best young, scoring point guards. We will certainly be an attractive option to free agents, and Griffin has proven intelligent enough to find ways to make it work financially. Let's just win a ring and call it a day.

And ultimately this is why the Cavs were okay with trading Wiggins and Bennett for him. They will get another top tier talent if he decides to leave, but again I doubt it.

Love will get that anyway so I don't see why he would need leverage.

Never saw this article before, but it does a nice job explaining the options for Love and the Cavs...

http://www.businessinsider.com/kevin-loves-injury-free-agency-2015-4

When the Cavs traded for Love in August, Yahoo's Adrian Wojnarowski reported that the team and Love had agreed that Love would opt out of his contract to re-sign in Cleveland on a five-year, $120 million max contract. The supposed agreement (which had to be in principle, otherwise it would be a violation of NBA rules) would assure Cleveland of keeping Love long-term after giving up No. 1 draft pick Andrew Wiggins in the trade, while also locking in Love at a bargain rate before the giant salary cap jump in 2016.
In January, however, amid speculation that Love was unhappy in Cleveland during the Cavs' rocky start, Love told Chris Haynes of the Northeast Ohio Media Group that he didn't plan on opting out: I think that we will figure it out here, so I don't plan on opting out or any of that. I plan on being here. As far as leaving my options open, I mean sure, it's always there. At the end of the day, it's always good to have something but no, I plan on being here.
This is beneficial for Love. Although his $16.7 million salary for 2015-2016 is less than what he would get if he opted out and signed a max contract with Cleveland, he can earn much more long-term.
According to Larry Coon's CBA FAQ, Love can earn a max contract worth 30% of the salary cap because he has been in the league seven to nine years. Next season the salary cap is expected to be $66 million, giving Love a starting salary of $19.8 million with 7.5% raises each season. If he opts in and becomes a free agent in 2016 with the $89 million salary cap, he could have a starting salary worth $26.7 million with 7.5% raises each season.
Over the course of five years — assuming he stays with Cleveland, the only team that can offer him a five-year contract and 7.5% raises — that would be worth $153 million, a $33 million difference from the reported five-year, $120 million agreement when he was traded.
When Love and the Cavs made this reported agreement, the NBA's huge salary cap jump as a result of a new TV deal had not been reported.
Now, with Love's shoulder injury, it's more likely that he takes his player option rather than entering free agency coming off a big injury when teams may be hesitant to sign him.
Whether the Cavs will be happy about that is another matter, but they don't have much of a choice. This at least gives Cleveland another year of the LeBron-Kyrie-Love trifecta, with another year to jell and see whether the team has a championship core with the right surrounding pieces.
Having Love around another season is also beneficial in that the Cavaliers would not have the financial ability to replace Love if he decided to leave in free agency this summer. Assuming LeBron, J.R. Smith, and Mike Miller all take their player options this summer, the Cavs would still have over $71 million on their payroll with no room to sign a free agent of Love's caliber as a replacement.
