I forget how the playoff rounds work? Do they go whenever the 2 teams are ready, do they wait until everyone in that conference are done with their round games, or do they wait until everyone in both conferences are done with their rounds?

It will start roughly 2 days after the Bulls/Bucks series is over.

I don't think this is correct. Earliest it will start is saturday may 2nd. I'm not sure about them waiting for all of round 1 to be over before starting round 2, but if I had to guess it is that they do.

@highkin If the Bulls win tomorrow, the Cavs series begins Saturday. If it goes 6 or more, Monday.

So 4 days, if it ends tomorrow. If it goes 7, it won't be til the 4th at the earliest.

Hey Sam amico, stfu.

14. I know, I know. Tristan Thompson is Kevin Love's replacement at power forward, and Thompson is strictly a low-post performer. He doesn't space the floor like Love. He doesn't finish like Love. But it's not the end of the world if Love misses two or three games. Nothing against the Bulls, but they're not the unstoppable force Cavs fans seem to think. They're very good. They don't have LeBron.

Uggggh.....biggest fear, realized. Punk ass Boston. When you suck, out-thug them.

JR will get 1 or 2 games but my guess is probably 2. I am not worried about the Bulls even without Love; we have Lebron and Irving who can handle the Bulls themselves.

As long as we can get Love back for the East Finals/NBA Finals we should be alright.

Good call on that one! Now, I'll start this with saying JR was dumb and shouldn't have thrown the spinning back-fist. However, the refs need to take some of the blame as well. That whole offensive series, and the 4 game series even, Crowder was pushing people around and giving extra shoves. If the refs call it like they should have, JR doesn't swing on him. The refs should never work a game again. And let's not forget Thomas coming from behind Lebron inbounding a ball and stealing....what?!?!

Most people who understand basketball are worried about the Bulls. That was before Loves injury and Jr's possible suspension. Cavs didn't match up down low well to begin with. Mozgov helped, but Tristan has always been over matched by Noah, Gasol, and Gibson. Lebron will have to move to 4 with Love out and Shump will have to play more even if JR is playing. I like Shump, but he's not near the threat JR is.

Actually most people who understand basketball understand that Rose would ride the bench on any respectable team worth a damn and Gasol is old as dirt. The team sucks and they have no one who can legitimately guard Lebron or Irving much less both at the same time. The games will be about as easy as the games against the Celtics.

No ones too worried about Gasol. Noah and Taj Gibson however are a different story.
And Rose rides the bench on on most teams lol .. gtfoooh.

Let me guess, you think Rose deserved his MVP a few years ago? He's a trash player.

Noah? No offense and neither does Gibson. The Bulls suck and the Cavs will be fine.

You should be nervous about the Bulls. Without Love, Noah will be closer to the basket instead of chasing him around. Rose is playing really well. I'm just wondering if Mirotic will play much since he may still be injured. The Bulls will not be easy to get past and without Love and JR it's that much harder. I expect at least a 2 game suspension maybe 3 for JR since he's a repeat offender.

I too was more worried about the Bulls than any other team in the east. I was hoping the raptors would have taken the 3 seed, but I think they honestly tanked to avoid the cavs (how did that work out for them). I was concerned about the Bulls even with love.

The only game Cleveland played the Bulls without love was a loss. I don't think Cleveland can win the series without love.

Just like I should have been nervous about the hot Celtics who had the 3rd best record in the NBA after the all-star break? LOL. Anyone who thinks the Bulls have a snow balls chance of hell in beating the Cavs, even without Love/Smith, downright do not know SHIT about basketball. The hype is just hype no substance.

Other than game 1 Rose hasn't been as amazing as the media is making him out to be. He looked like shit in game 4. I'm hoping rose continues to settle for jumpers.

The series does get a little more challenging without Love in the lineup. Love is a top 25 NBA player no doubt and one of the best PF in the league so he makes things easier. With that said, no way the Bulls should even make it a series much less win it against Lebron and the Cavs.

No he's never deserved to be MVP. He's injury prone and hes a pretty overall inefficient player. But he's still among the best in the league. To say he'd ride the pine is beyond ridiculous.

The problem, which Sleeper doesn't see, is without Love we have to play the Bulls game. We don't have Love to stretch their D out. We'll have to play down low. Anytime you have to abandon your game and play the other teams game... it's not a plus. They're better at a traditional game than we were.. We're better at a stretch 4 with Love in. We don't have that. That's why I'm worried.

Among the best is so vague its pointless. He's probably a top 15 PG but that's still about average. He's an average player.
