Take away:
Head to head matters
Out of conference wins
And where you lose to and where matters.

If that holds true, no way OSU gets in unless there is chaos.

A LOT of football left to be played, but it will be funny to see the amount of butt hurt leading up to the last rankings.

The big take away is that you better start to play someone and that the days of shitty scheduling is over.

Thank God.

SEC teams are being rewarded for a strong conference. This is as it should be.

How do we know how strong the SEC is? Here is a list of non-conference games for the 3 SEC teams in the top 4:

Southern Miss
UAB
South Alabama
UT Martin
San Jose State
Louisiana Tech
Samford
Kansas State
Boise State
LA-Lafayette
Memphis
Presbyterian

Outside of a 6 point win against Kansas State nothing else tells us anything about how strong the SEC is.

6 National titles in 7 years (7 appearances in 7 years) tells us all we need to know about the consistent strength of the SEC.

The quality of football played in that conference is unquestioned for good reason.

It's a good conference...but it's not "Four of the Top 6" good.

It is though. Watch CBS at 330, they play an elite level of ball

Everyone realizes the recent historical success of the SEC. And everyone knows it's quality football. I'm just saying you can't say for certain how good some of the SEC teams are when they are beating Presbyterian and Samford.

In other news, water is wet.

Lol. They're playing each other. Literally, the only way to judge the CONFERENCE as a whole is to have them all play other elite conferences.

who has ND beat though? Looks like to me all the teams ahead of them have better wins.

Sleeper agrees about Notre Dame and wanting to be rewarded for close losses.

They are totally bent out of shape on 11 warriors right now.

Why is the jealousy of the SEC so intense among Buckeye fans? It consumes so many followers of the Big 10 it is scary.
