I’ve been to Chicago many times and this past weekend helped move my daughter stuff to my warehouse in Canton. She’s been transferred to LA office for a big project.
Stop into this little place in Winker Park area Sun Rise Café for early breakfast. Great breakfast perfect egg over easy and the hash just a little crispy on the edges just the way I like it.
I’m a coffee fan, enjoy a good cup or two every morning and this coffee was wonderful.
If any of the OC are from Chicago or have tried this coffee Intelligentsia what your opinon?
If you are a coffee drinker you have to try this …. Intelligentsia
What your favorite brand of coffee?

I had no idea it was a chain. A massive Urban Outfitters just opened near Herald Square with an Intelligentsia attached. It's a major hipster meeting place.
Good coffee though, their cold brew on tap is bomb.

I might drink one or two cups of coffee a year. Usually after a hard night partying when I have to get mobilized to drive home early the next day.
And don't tend to like it because I don't do caffeine, so I'm jittery and have to piss constantly for a few hours afterwards. Fuck, if you're going to give me a stimulant, skip the caffeine drinks and just hit me up with a bit of coke. Much more clean buzz than caffeine.

There's a Peet's across the street from my job. I'm no coffee drinker, but a lot of people really like it.salto;1665777 wrote: Peet's rules.

Buddy gave me a half pound blue mountain from Jamaica best I've ever had. Generally I do dunkins or green mountain for brew at home.

None of that, either. I try to have one soda/week...and it's typically a Coke with my pizza on Friday nights.Commander of Awesome;1665795 wrote:Just Mt. Dew?
If I need energy, I will have an XS Energy Drink from Amway...but that's rare.
Anyway...I know that was too much info since you were joking.

I like Peets.
I live right next to a World Market, so I usually get their 1 pound bag of whole bean French or Indonesian Roast, both are Full and Bold.
They make a good cup of Joe.
