That would be my list, and it obviously excludes Durant and Westbrook together.

The next tier is much bigger with Aldridge, Jordan, Paul, Wall, Harden, Cousins, Gasol, Irving, Anthony, Lillard, Griffin, Bosh, Rose (when healthy), maybe a few others to round out the top 20.

Actually, it's hard to name the last true lead guard that could carry this. LeBron and Magic are in another galaxy.

Obviously the list is subjective, but I don't think you will find anyone saying Davis isn't in the group. Age has to play a part too. Harden is 27. Westbrook is almost 28. Anthony Davis is 22. Might say the same about Andrew Wiggins in a year or 2. Just as the same was said about LeBron when he was 21...
