Congrats to Fitch and Gardens. We had the talent edge, and there were many questionable calls, but the bottom line is that we were outcoached. Phil has done a great job building the Fitch program. He also did a great job winning a state title in Warren before they ran him out of town.

Massillon losing has had a terrible affect on our sponsors. Nike's market cap was down $929,000,000 today because we were upset on Friday night.

We will bounce back and win big this weekend. We play a private school this week, and we are undefeated against private schools this year. Against private schools, we have an average margin of victory of 77-13 this year.

Nike stock has tumbled as a result of Massillon getting upset twice. If you look at the close from when they were undefeated until the close yesterday, Nike market cap has fallen by $4,479,800,000. It had been priced into the stock that Massillon would win a national championship this year, and it tumbled when that expectation fell apart. People tend to underestimate the economic impact of Massillon football. The value of the company has fallen 5.8% in the last 7 trading days (since the Tigers first loss).
