The Jets are finding out what NFL Owners only talk about behind closed doors. There has never been a truly great black QB in the NFL. Sure there have been some one or two season decent performers like Doug Wiliams, Randall Cunningham and now Cam Newton (though he's not living up to his initial promise). Why is this? It's kinda the same reason there are no longer any great white WRs.

Insert unfunny Tiernan joke that he was actually performing at halftime, not playing QB.

Would you call him "great" b/c he won one SB? Was Mark Rypian a great QB? For that matter is Joe Flacco a great QB? Warren Moon put up some big numbers but never quite sealed the deal if you get my drift...his selection into the HOF was kinda affirmative action.

What's funny and ironic here:

When I see a tiernan post I know exactly what it's going to say before I even read it.

Yet tiernan probably doesn't have a clue what he said because drunj.

Nelson, Welker, Largent etc are novelty acts...not a single one would you put on a top 10 list of all-time great WRs. OK maybe Largemt at #10. It's virtually the same with RBs & CBs, it's genuinely curious. Of course the regular OC retards wanna jump to call me a racist for bringing this up but there is definitely a color lock on certain positions in the NFL.

It's too early to call him great yet but he's certainly trending that way.
