The video game? I remember it. Had it for Gameboy and SNES.

But assuming from HitsRus post it is something from long before it came out as a video game.

The video game is what came to mind for me as well.

Surprised you don't remember it more than just barely given that you are my age. BTW, you and I would have been in the same high school classes had dad not been transferred to Pittsburgh. Had a basketball scholly to boot which only would have paid a partial.Back in the day there was no ESPN to recap the game. There was no DVD or such. Twice a week, Tuesday and Friday nights, a half hour show would recap the Browns game with video from the previous Sunday And it was always a Sunday, not Monday, not Thursday, but Sunday.The Browns would sell out virtually every game but when they didn't, the games were blacked out. So sometimes the Quarterback Club was the only way of viewing the key plays. And the sellouts were 84,000 at the old stadium with the dirt infield in play at the closed end of the stadium.

Ken Coleman?

^^^That's about all I remember of it...I think Ken Coleman hosted it. I just can't remember anything more about the particulars...did he have the coach on also...or a player?

You know the other thing that might have kept me from remembering much of it is that I was a resident student at GA....mandatory study hall from 7-9PM Sun- thru Thurs.

You jogged my memory. I now remember that Blanton Collier was there along with Coleman. Sometimes players: Bill Glass, Ross Fichtner, Frank Ryan, Ernie Green.....maybe even an appearance by number 32.

Erich Barnes....came over from the Giants. Returned a kickoff for a TD against the Jets in the first Monday night game ever. 1970

BTW, Both Homer Jones and Erich Barnes came from the Giants...as did Jim Kanicky and Dick Modzrlewski (Little Mo).
