Anyone else a fan? I used to hate it, then I just kinda liked it a little bit, now it's my favorite kind of food. We have a couple great Indian buffets that are convenient to work so I've been able to try out a bunch of different dishes the last few months.

Chicken Tikka Masala, Saag Paneer, Saag Chole, and Chicken Vindaloo have been my favorite dishes so far. There is another dish with chickpeas that I cannot remember the name that is awesome as well. Vegetable pakora and naan are also fantastic.

Indian buffets are the best. Even in DC, I can go to an all you can eat buffet for like $10.

I don't have it often, but do enjoy it. A few years back, a couple of my friends from college got married in a traditional Indian ceremony and had one hell of a buffet.

I like it, I find Ethiopian better. If you haven't tried that, I recommend it.

Tandoor in Toledo is great, places in columbus just aren't as good. Aab is the best I've found.

There is an Ethiopian restaurant a few neighborhoods over from my house. I'll see if I can talk my coworkers or wife in to trying it.

BE warned, no plain hamburgers or hotdogs will be served. You might starve.

Hate anything & everything about India... but love Indian food.

Favorite dish = lamb biryani (chicken tandoori is 2nd). Favorite appetizer = samosas. Favorite dessert = laddu/ladoo

If anyone is every in Hollywood and looking for a great Indian place, Flavor of India is amazing.

Agreed with this. The thing I like about Indian food is it seems healthy because most of the flavoring comes from spices rather than salt/MSG.

And the spices are damn good! They have a knack for creating dishes which look like some combination of shit, puke and refried beans, but it all is just amazing as far as flavoring.

I think that's what turns people off most about Indian food; it rarely looks appetizing. Also the stigma of bad breath/too spicy turns off most people too even though those are largely untrue.

I enjoy it. But, there's not many ethnic foods I don't like.

Don't tell that to a female tho. Most women lose their minds over Thai.

I enjoy all ethnic foods, with Ethiopian I not a fan of eating the soggy bread plate...

I have never actually had Indian food in America. I did go to India last December and really enjoyed everything I ate. The Naan (sp?) bread was legit. I only ate at the hotel restaurant so as not to die, but it was a "5" star hotel (by India's standards). I have been meaning to try a few places here.

My apartment building smells like curry every night. Thai is the best.

Just became a fan of it this past year. Got two different Indian places just around the block from me. I'm also a fan of the Chicken Tikka Masala, Chicken Vindaloo and a chicken mango dish one of the restaurants serves. There's also this dish I had last time w/ the main ingredient being yogurt and it was really good too. Can't remember the name though. Trying to get my girlfriend to try Indian food too.

Indonesian food is also good. If you don't know what to order ask for Rendang it's a beef stew served with some type of bread/pita that's awesome.
