My dad makes an awesome creamy potato soup. I like any soup he makes, vegetable, chili, cheesy broccoli, and navy bean are the ones he makes most often. He also makes enough to feed an army so you have leftovers for week.

When my grandma passed away, seldom wrote anything down and when she did never any measurements. Grandma Chicken Noodle soup was the best. It took me 5 years after she died and interview my aunt, uncles, cousins on what they remember about Grandma Chicken noodle soup and how she prepared it. After 10 to 15 failure I nailed it. I havent given away the recipe yet because I'm making a Family Tradition Cook Book to give to all the family someday at Christmas. I have almost 100 recipe so far.

I have been craving Bob Evans cheddar potato soup for a few days, so I will be having it for lunch. I am going to try one of the copy cat recipes I have found for it sometime soon.
