Yesterday I'm on top of the world. We found out we're having a little girl. Today my dad goes into the hospital for leg pain and gets admitted for a suspected blood clot, and finds out he's got a tumor choking his artery in his groin and underwent emergency surgery and are now doing a biopsy on the tumor. Talk about a 180 on emotions.

That's rough. Congrats on the daughter, and hopefully the tumor will come back as nothing.

Keep hope and prayers! My father went in for open heart surgery in January and during some tests they also found that he was bleeding internally. It turned out to be a tumor in his colon. The test came back positive for cancer.

He had a 5-way bypass that month and in March they went back in and removed a portion of his colon to get the tumor. His ticker is working well and he is also completely cancer free!

Well the good news is the doctor said the tumor didn't look typical of a malignant tumor, but still haven't gotten the test back yet obviously. Other good news is he's sore from the surgery but the leg pain has gone away.

Just an update... The tumor did come back benign. It was a load off my shoulders. I worried all week for my dad but he got the good news today. The also didn't see anything else when they did the scan.
