I'll be leaving for Vegas Saturday. I haven't been in about 5 years. We got tickets to the Beatles Love and Absinthe. Were staying at MGM. Any recommendations for places to eat, other shows, or places to visit.

CraftSteak inside the MGM is really nice. Can't miss with any seafood or steakhouse out there though. Sounds like you are already going to plenty of shows. Hang out at a nice sports book on Sunday for NFL games, always a good time. Aria has a nice sports book.

Bachi Burger is delicious, off the beaten path. Hash House A Go Go has amazing chicken and waffles.

I'm going to watch Ohio State at the MGM sports book. Where would you recommend for a sports book on Sunday?

Gordon Ramsay BurGR -- Incredible food, but pricy.

If you're into night clubs, check out the Marquee in the Cosmopolitan.

Noodles at the Bellagio.
Bacchanal buffet at Caesar's (it's expensive, but IMO best buffet in Vegas)
If you're looking for something off the strip, The Naked Fish is an AWESOME sushi joint. Make sure you get the Chilean sea bass (it's out of this world)

Bobby's Burger Palace. Little over-priced (but then again, what isn't in Vegas, right), but very good burgers and even better shakes! Definitely a 'fun' place and not quite as expensive as some of the other places previously mentioned.

Hash House A Go Go is amazing in terms of the AMOUNT of food you get, but I was SEVERELY disappointed with the TASTE of my Chicken Waffle. Not nearly as good as SoCal's Bruxie, not even by a mile.

MGM and Bellagio are the best sports books, you'll have a good time hanging out at either place. Gambling wise probably better staying home at the MGM. If the Spearmint Rhino is still around that's a good place for after-dinner.

We have one of these at the casino in Cincy. I can walk there from my office in about 5 minutes, which makes it a great lunch spot. I agree, the burgers are very good. The brunch burger (fried egg and bacon on top) is my go-to.

I've only been to Vegas once. The highlights from our trip were the Penn & Teller show and the trip to the Red Rock Canyon.

I wouldn't do more shows if you are already doing the ones you are.

I try to stay to the restaurants in the hotel im
staying at, as you can usually get a cheaper rate or some kind of discount. But really, type in Vegas steakhouse and pick one. It will be at least a 4*. Best collection of steak and seafood in the world, IMO.

This is the best sports book/restaurant we've been.

I guess I might be too late for your trip haha. I was just out there in June and stayed at Monte Carlo. I will second Bobby's Burger. I don't think it was anymore expensive than similar sit down restaurants. Also ate at Double Barrel and it had similar prices. Basically you're probably going to be paying at least $15-$20 for anything above fast food. I was out there for EDC, so as far as shows, etc... can't help cause I spent the nights out at the festival and the days at the pool.

Drunk Posting right now....

Walked by Bobbys tonight and told my wife we should eat there now I know we will tomorrow.

Highlight of the trip so far

In downtown vegas on a $5 craps table I went on a 42 roll streak. I won about $450 but the guy next to me won over $1500 on my rolls. He tipped me $100 before he left. I also got my picture taken and a plaque on their wall of sharpshooters and some hotel swag from them.

Wish I could have been at your table when that happened!
