Freedom of Speech, the right to voice substantiated opinion is a liberty that is cherished in America, the Constitution and its citizen.
The Media has a different standard of is Constitutional Right … This Freedom in according to the Media is for profit, deception and persuasion at all cost to the society, individual and finical repercussion of misleading, fraudulent and slanderous reporting.
We’ve seen this time and time again, more now that ever, because of technology of the information age. However this instant data base of information, facts, video, recorded communication and computer research is all muted by the Media methods of reporting and presenting news to the public. Bias, damaging and skewed reporting is flashed across the Special Report on national Radio, TV and I phones with no regards for the potential upheaval of misleading, fraudulent reporting.
IMO the Media has to be held responsible for personal and public damage due to deception, fraudulent and misleading information reported…

You're right. All of the media outlets you get your information should be shut down but the FCC and sued by the Federal Trade Commission for fraudulently profiting off of your ignorance.

The "media" as not some giant entity that acts according to a secret agenda. "Media" is tens of thousands of sources of information. Some are more reliable than others of course. They are motivated to get people to seek their individual feed as their sources of information. If there were some group reporting an agenda, others would gladly reveal it thereby gaining attention. "Media bias" is a confirmation bias we all seem to have. In this day-in-age, you can find news outlets that provide you news and commentary that completely agrees with your philosophy and views. You can also find sources that are in direct contrast. Liberal or conservative bias is an illusion. For example, is you want to see the liberal take you can go to MSNBC. If you want the conservative take, go to Breitbart.

Confirmation bias, which we all probably have, means we will see what we want to see in the. If we want to see bias against our views, that's what we'll find. This is a far cry from some grand, united conspiracy to send a central message and brain wash us all.
