As opposed to Dookie Jay Williams, who was a colossal bust due to personal stupidity. Strangely, he doesn't mention that guy.

And with this, his career is officially over and he cements his place in the #1 draft picks who have busted conversations.

1. Both were injured or damaged goods going into the draft that was fodder for talking heads about how risky the pick would be......AND PEOPLE DRAFTED THEM ANYWAY.

2. THere was a obvious #1 (Durant and Jordan) that was not taken #1.
Bowie wasn't picked first. I say that Jordan at the time wasn't an obvious number 1 over Olajuwon. I think any team would have taken Hakeem over Jordan.

Olajuwon was a great #1. The fact people DO NOT consider him a bad pick (when MJ was there) shows how amazing he was. Any franchise takes what Hakeem gave the Rockets on draft day.

Yeah LOL at anyone saying Bowie was bust because of anything besides injuries.

Also pretty much any team was taking Hakeem #1 that day. It's not like MJ was supposed to be as great as he became. Like he didn't have the expectations that Lebron had when he was drafted.

This was a mistake. The guy they actually arrested was Fred G. Sanford.

On ESPN's 5 reasons show not to blame the blazers for not drafting Jordan it talked about how every previous championship caliber team had a dominant big man so they chose him.
