Mainly due to slow starts from Lacy, Alshon, and VJax, and also having the second most points scored against me to this point. I made a trade this week of Eddie Lacy, Josh Gordon, and D'Qwell Jackson and received Keenan Allen, Ben Tate, and Isaiah Crowell. That leaves my roster looking like this:
QB: Matt Ryan
WR: Alshon Jeffery, Keenan Allen, Vincent Jackson
RB: LeVeon Bell, Ben Tate
TE: Antonio Gates
K: Justin Tucker
D: Detroit/Cleveland
IDP: Bobby Wagner, Vontaze Burfict, Paul Worrilow
I'm considering making another trade that I know the manager is strongly considering at this point, and he currently sits in second place of 12 teams. The big reason I'm considering this is because 3/4 of the players I would receive have already had their bye and I get a significant upgrade at RB. Should I move forward with this offer or no?
I trade: Matt Ryan, Alshon Jeffery, Ben Tate, and Isaiah Crowell
I receive: Russell Wilson, Michael Floyd, Marshawn Lynch, and Delanie Walker
My team would look like this after the trade:
QB: Russell Wilson
WR: Michael Floyd, Keenan Allen, Vincent Jackson
RB: LeVeon Bell, Marshawn Lynch
TE: Antonio Gates/Delanie Walker
K: Justin Tucker
D: Detroit/Cleveland
IDP: Bobby Wagner, Vontaze Burfict, Paul Worrilow
BN: Mark Ingram, Rueben Randle, Eli Manning, Toby Gerhart
Rueben Randle could end up being a nice player for you. He has seen 27 targets the last 3 games and 10 in back to back games. As the Giants new offense comes along, those targets could end up being big numbers. He turned in 8 for 89 last week.
As for the trade, I like Ryan/Jeffery much more than Wilson/Floyd. I don't know if what you make up at RB with Lynch will come near what you are going to lose giving up Ryan and Jeffery. I am assuming that Jeffery comes on strong. He was bothered by a little injury the first couple weeks, he looks healthy now. He needs a healthy Marshall and from what I have read, Marshall is getting better so that Bears passing attack could start putting up better numbers all around.
