Well Bruce has been put on the bereavement list, so what do the Reds do?? Yup, bring up ANOTHER reliever. Curtis Partch has been recalled. He successfully hit a batter, catcher, AND the home plate umpire on ONE pitch last night in a game for the Bats.

This is gonna be a good one.

Anyone think we score at least 3 runs in back to back games for the first time since the break? I sure don't.

My thought about Partch was the game went 15 the night before and could using pitching.

Arizona has a player named Tuffy Gosewisch. Interesting.

I truly don't even know what to say regarding this offense. Mike Brown teams produce more offense than this shit.

Honestly, trade Simon NOW. Look at what St. Louis gave up for Justin Masterson. They get a team's top 3 prospect for a guy who is a free agent. Simon, having a better season than Masterson, also has 1 more year under team control.

Hmm, a JJ Hoover appearance in a high-leverage situation (only down 2-0, top of 8th) where he gave up a run.

None of this seems surprising.

No doubt...they averaged close to 27 points a game last season. Much better than the reds......

I agree with trading Simon. Have to wonder who would take him. Pretty much have been waiting for him to hit that wall with all the innings.
