Skip had a brain cramp. He made a decent decision to not try for the force and throw to 1b for the final out, but mentally he questioned his own decision as he saw Span not hustling to 2B, and that brain crap worked on him making him throw wild to first. But Latos got out of it only using 2 more pitches.

We need this win. I know we just lost 7 in a row but if we can take 2/3 from the Nats, that should get this team in the right mentality going forward.

Santiago failing to cover 2B on the Fister bunt was a sore point in the way the Nats 3 run inning unfolded. Latos lets the failings of others affect his performance too much. I think he was upset with some of the ball/strike calls also, but I didn't think the ump was wrong any that inning.
