I'll get this started by saying that I think Carey and Wynford are the top two teams in the N10 this year with Col. Crawford being right there also. Carey returns a lot of speed at the skill positions and if they can find an offensive line their wishbone attack with some passing now included will be hard to stop. Carey was awful on defense last season and if Coach Worst wants to ne a playoff contender this is an area that must be fixed. Last years team was the least physical Carey team I've ever seen. They were weak both against the run and pass. I would put Buckeye Central and Bucyrus in as the next best contenders with both Mohawk and Seneca East rebuilding and probably being a year or so away. Crestline and Ridgedale will once again be on the bottom.

These are my opinion, I would like to know what others think as I'm somewhat familiar with the old NCC schools but I don't know what they return, the old MAL teams I've seen play regularly and know a little more about. I think that you're a Riverdale guy, they play Carey and How do you think the Falcons will fare in the BVC. I just want to get started talking fooball, it's only 3 weeks away.

I don't keep tabs enough to know who will be good/bad this year, but I think your list is a pretty good guess.

Riverdale will fare better in the BVC than the NCC for sure. But they have an uphill battle to get a winning culture going there. That's been the case for years. Boy's sports in general are just not very strong there right now. The boys really seem to like 1st year Coach Frey. I think 5-5 is a realistic prediction for Riverdale based on schedule.

And I hope the N10 is successful. I think it's a great league with a good mix of schools. Travel time is decent, especially for the old NCC teams. I think it was a good league for Riverdale, but the BVC is just a no brainer for them.

Right, I think everyone in the N10 knew if Riverdale ever got the chance to go to the BVC that they would be gone. I don't blame them, it was a great fit and by Riverdale leaving Upper Sandusky was able to get in the N10 which is also a great fit travel and competition wise. Carey also had a chance to go to the BVC and I'm thinking that this would have been a good move for them too, but we'll see how this N10 thing works out. I like playing Upper sandusky, Mohawk, and now Wynford again. Also with Carey and Wynford as the 2 main schools pushing for the new League, it wouldn't have looked to good to bail before it ever started.
