Nothing better than playing the Cubs 5 times in a row to get you back in the division race.

Dont say that too loud....they could still end up 2-3 in this series!

But yeah......so far it has been a welcoming sight to have them in town while the reds are playing well!

Good thing this isn't a 5er against the dads or we would go 0-5.

When that ball Billy hit got by the CF and went to the wall, I thought sure it was an inside the parker! RF saved the day getting there so fast and making a good throw to the cut-off man.

Maybe so but when he first rolled over, he actually put weight on it. So hoping it's not broke.

Sprained left thumb, Xrays negative. That's a very good sign.

Billy with tightness in his left hammy.

First 12 game winner, The Big Pasta.

He is an All Star. I don't care that he probably won't be there. He is an All Star.

Hammy problems for the young speedster already in his career is a bad sign. Hopefully BP will be at 100% for the post season. I'll guess its 5 weeks till he plays again after the thumb sprain. My left thumb still hurts after straining it, due to a blow from contacting the ground, in the 3rd joint down, about 50 years ago! It was months before I could do much with it.

Matheny gets to pick the replacements right?

I'm fairly confident he will pick Simon to replace Cueto. At least, I hope so.

Great offensive inning for the Reds when they scored 3 in the 5th to take the 4-1 lead. They had three two out RBI hits that each drove in a run from scoring position. They hit .750 with 2 out and RISP in that inning which gave them the working margin to protect for the win.

Jim Day just said Ryan Ludwick finally got his new 1st baseman's glove in the mail and is going to start taking ground balls there in workouts. That's absolute garbage if the Reds roster player who would be the most valuable to move to 1B hasn't been working out at 1B under the guise that he didn't have a 1st baseman's mitt. That shouldn't hold up him working out there for more than 2 hours!

Yadier Molina and BP have the same injury.
