Beasley nor Bradley play the same position as Donovan.Raw Dawgin' it;1630418 wrote:Just curious - who is so much better than Donovan that he's not on the team? I heard Beasley hasn't scored in 6 years and Bradley looks like shit.
Tiernan?Raw Dawgin' it;1630418 wrote:Just curious - who is so much better than Donovan that he's not on the team? I heard Beasley hasn't scored in 6 years and Bradley looks like shit.
I have no clue the positions in soccer, so that doesn't help ha. It just seems crazy to me that a guy who hasn't score in 6 years at the international level is the best player in the country at that position.Automatik;1630420 wrote:Beasley nor Bradley play the same position as Donovan.
I'm fully on board with Jurgen now. He said it on that show leading up to the WC..."The media thinks Donovan is untouchable" but he sees him train everyday. Who would you believe?
Is this a horrible attempt at a joke or insult?Ytowngirlinfla;1630423 wrote:Tiernan?
Lol. One of the dumbest statements Ive heard. gonzalez was awesome today, but he is so bad he almost didnt make the damn team...and we have NO CB depth.Classyposter58;1630364 wrote:Gonzalez is so much better than Cameron
Bradley was terrible again. Zusi is fine. Plays both ways, and creates chances. He played well today.Classyposter58;1630372 wrote:Bradley an Zusi need benched. Just look bad
Darke was drunk on that one.SportsAndLady;1630374 wrote:Disagree with darke about that Ghana goal being good news. They score another one, we are out.
Go South Korea!!! I want Algeria! lolgorocks99;1630398 wrote:Bring on Belgium.
Not sure why people EVER questioned him. He only led them on the most successful 2+ years in Americas history. Emotion was WAY to high in regards to the reaction of the public/media with the Donovan decision.Ytowngirlinfla;1630405 wrote:I'll eat my words about Klinsman he knows what he's doing!
Love Dempsey, but not as effective up top imo. I would much rather him play in the false 9 position behind Jozy and have them work off each other. Jozy is so good at checking back, and the 1-2s they can play with Dempsey then making a run is so much more effective.Automatik;1630414 wrote: I like Dempsey up top.
He is a defender.Raw Dawgin' it;1630424 wrote:I have no clue the positions in soccer, so that doesn't help ha. It just seems crazy to me that a guy who hasn't score in 6 years at the international level is the best player in the country at that position.
So is bradley just having a shaky WC?Laley23;1630428 wrote:He is a defender.
And, it isnt like its 6 years w/o scoring. The USMNT only play a handful of games a year. Beasley wasnt included in the team until he re-dedicated himself and got a chance a few years ago, Klinsman was impressed and he has been an awesome defender for us when most thought his career was over. He is in the 4th WC for the USA.
Donovan was left off for strikers, but it appears Klinsman viewed Dempsey has Jozys replacement with injuries...that was his back-up plan (not Wondo or Aron J). We have looked pretty damn good with that line-up, so he clearly knew what he was doing.
Because the majority of Americans, myself included, can name about 3 soccer players, and he's the face of mens soccer. Truth is America only cares about soccer every 4 years, like the olympics.Laley23;1630427 wrote:Not sure why people EVER questioned him. He said reaction to Donovan being left of was way to high and I responded to that.SportsAndLady;1630435 wrote:Is that an argument or what..?
Laley explained to you the answer to your question and your response is that soccer is only popular every 4 years?
