"The White House task force will be working to come up with new identification tools for all of us to replace our passwords. The goal is to do that within a few years."

More WH intrusion.....shouldn't this be done in the private sector?

I'm starting to agree with Boehner more and more that Congress should be measured by the laws they repeal.

This seems innocent enough (conspiracy theories aside)...but to me the question is why do we even have resources and money allocated to this? Seriously, how is a WH task force going to do this better than the private sector? Taking on this problem goes well beyond waste and hubris.

At least a debate on the name "Redskins" is merely a waste. This could actually have an effect.

It could, but WTF are they really going to accomplish? Corporate welfare (i.e. handout/contract) to a private enterprise already working on solutions?

Pretty much, add a huge helping of inefficiency to something that the marketplace would easily handle.

You all are insane.
This is so unrealistic it is laughable.
There is no conceivable way to enforce this.

We know...That's why we're bitching about the waste of resources.

Really, what's this task force cost, couple hundred $K?

Honestly, there are way more things to get upset about and wasteful money.
How about getting outraged at Northrop Grumman, who improperly charged almost a $100 Million on a DOD contract?
